Our Newest Addition

Jane Noelle Walker

November 28, 2010

7 lb., 11 ounces.

Isn't she cute? Her middle name Noelle, is after her Grandpa Noall Bennett, who shares the same birthday. Jane goes with Bennett, one of our favorite book characters. Jane is also her Maternal and Paternal Great-Great Grandmother's name.

Summer Swimming

Yea! We got a new camera. This was my first day playing with it. Unfortunately, Em was at a friend's house that night. The big splash, of course, is Rob.

We Did It!!

Look!! Proof that we actually grew yummy tomatoes in Arizona. We celebrated by having BLT's for dinner. Hopefully the rest won't cook with the 110+ temps next week.

Oh No, the Suns Lost!!!

Rob loves it when the Suns are in the playoffs. They went pretty far this year, but not far enough. He was at their final playoff game of the season, and we were all so sad for him when they lost. The girls decided to dress in black and play funeral music for him when he got home that night. Rob was appreciative of their concern and wanted to capture the moment with a photo.

Rob and I just took the older girls on a trip to Washington, DC. It was amazing. I wanted to share my favorite picture of the trip. I took it at the FDR Memorial.

Halloween

This year for Halloween we had a ton of fun. Emily and Abby went with a Wicked,their favorite Broadway musical, theme. Abby was Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of the West) while Emily was Glinda (The Good Witch of the North). Liz was Cinderella, and Sara, Katee, and Rob were Ute fans.

BEAR LAKE 2009

Bloomington Lake

A little bit north of Bear Lake is a glacier lake called Bloomington Lake. Rob and the older girls went with the Bennett's up to the lake in July. They had a great time swinging into the ice cold water from the tree-rope swing. The first video is of Abby, the second of Emily, and the third video is 'crazy' Aunt Seidi. We love how much fun she is.

Fourth of July in Paris

Every year Dad makes sure that we spend the Fourth of July in Paris, Idaho. First we attend the Patriotic Program in the Paris Tabernacle, and then we collect lots of taffy at the Parade. The rest of the day is always spent on the beach at Bear Lake.

Pine with the Hunts

We went "camping" in June with our good friends, the Hunts. The girls all had a great time playing and creating their own wilderness home.

Ragnar Relay

Rob planned to run the Ragnar Relay in Utah again, but broke his foot playing Church Softball in May. Maybe next year. He still went and played Cheerleader. This photos is with three of his siblings somewhere in Utah.

Desert Botanical Garden

Mom and I took Sara to the Desert Botanical Garden on Wednesday. I haven't ever gone because I don't like the desert. It was really a neat thing to do (especially with the glass art exhibit right now), and a good thing to do if you don't like the desert. It's kind of like the saying "If you don't like someone, you just haven't got to know them yet". I now like desert plants a little more because I know more about them.... How about that for the lesson of the day?
They also have a little butterfly pavillion. Sara was cautious and a little scared when one kept trying to land on her flower dress, but we all had fun. Thanks for going with us Grandma!

Our First Swim Party

It's hot again! The only positive part of the heat is that the girls love to swim. They got new swimsuits from the Easter Bunny. Hopefully they are ok with me posting these pictures.

Spring Skiing

Rob and I took the kids to Utah for some Spring Break skiing and family time. We went to Alta this year and had a great time. Wayne and Taryn came up and brought their kids, and Danny came also. Mom and Dad brought Sara and lunch up for a great mid-day break.

Sara's New Real Violin

Sara loved her toy violin so much that we broke down and bought her a real one. It is a really cute 1/16 size. She now has a quick little lesson after Abby and Liz on Saturdays. Her practicing consists of zip steps (standing correctly) and misississi ha gos (Mississippi Hot Dogs- learning rhythms). She practices every day with her sisters.

Christmas

First and Second Picture: Sara got her own violin for Christmas. She has tried to sneak out the girls' violins hundreds of times the last couple of years. She asked Santa for one and loves it. She is a little different than the first three. She unwrapped the gifts in her stocking first this morning and was most excited by the orange. She tried to bounce it on the floor and then wanted to play catch with her Dad. Her favorite toys were a model car from Abby and some matchbox cars. She played with them the entire day. She still has some girl in her though because she was telling me that the big one is a mommy car like me and the little one is the baby car like her.

Third Picture: Six a.m. excitement. I don't think that they really wanted to pose for pictures before opening their gifts.
Last Picture: Rob wanted to have proof that I did make Christmas trees this year. Thanks Rob!

Time Out

I don't remember why, but Rob put the girls in time out yesterday. Then he took this picture of them sitting on their bench. I think that his message was really getting through to them....
